I took these photos on Thursday. Suddenly, the lake bed is looking finished.
Deep channels have been dug for fish habitat and logs placed in them:
Crews are busy at work on Lakeshore Drive at the west end of the lake. The road is to be lowered a foot to help with flood control.
The rear berm has been reshaped:
According to the latest installation of The Dredge Report, the heavy equipment should be out of the lake any day now.
The plan is for there to be water in the lake by October.
