Now's the time for those who don't live in Pine Lake to come see what living here is really like and for those who do live here to snoop in their neighbors' houses!

Yes, the 2nd Annual Pine Lake Tour of Homes is tomorrow, May 1, from 1-6 pm. Tickets are $15 and support in their entirety arts in the city.

Click MORE, below, for details.

Tour of Homes tomorrow!
Please plan to attend & support local arts!

Some enticements:

This year we're offering two 'rest areas' (with chairs, shade and
cool water) at both wetland entrances.....If you don't want to walk
all the way to the Clubhouse to buy your ticket, you can get one
there ($15).

This year we introduced "artspots" --- three places to see/do art:

1. At the Clubhouse, TEN vendors from past/future LakeFests
will be showing their wares. A great place for a Mother's Day
present. Also baked goods, courtesy of Duck's Cosmic Kitchen, Beth
Carr, Megan Pulsts and others TBA

2. At the Courthouse, you can enjoy the charming & quirky
display of the public art project from the 2010 LakeFest -- a
collection of 30+ 'leaves' painted by you or your neighbor last
October!

3. At 4641 Ridge, but only between 3-5pm: Art Salon &
Playhouse, the monthly art happening in the big red barn. Come make a
hand-made card, write a poem with others, and generally be creative.

Houses on the Tour??

We didn't mean to keep it a secret, but here are the homes that will be open:

1) Peggy Pease's house on Spruce, now inhabited by Angela Holley (at
the far end of the wetland trail)

2) Bill Pope & Callahan McDonough on Park, in the house formerly
owned by Joe and Czech King -- you KNOW you've always wanted to see
inside this house!

3) Veronica Wright's "Frog House" (once known as the cat house!) on Spruce

4) Karen Kennedy and Tim Neeland's new house on Ivy

5) Laura Smith's newly-renovated 'stilt' house on Willow

6) Bibi Simon's little cottage with the big yard on Dogwood

7) Patrick Haase & David Reeb's new home on Pine -- right across the
street from their old home

Your ticket (bought at the Clubhouse or the rest stations) will get
you into each house. Rumor has it that there are light snacks too!

ALL proceeds go to the Youth Summer Theatre Camp this June and
LakeFest this fall (October 1-2).
