Park Cards


Back in the day residents were subject to being asked for park cards by the police. Visitors and guests were required to carry a card also.


Only it didn't work out that way. Since at least 1998, the cards have been pretty much ignored by both citizens and the police.

I'm thinking it's time the city officially dropped them-- and the wording should be removed from the signs.

I think it should be enforced again. We have too much invested in our community, and I'm tired of picking up other people's trash while walking my dog.
